ZenaDrone Manufacturing FZE, based in the Sharjah Airport International Free Zone (SAIF Zone), is at the cutting edge of UAV innovation. We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Drone Maintenance & Assembly Specialist to join our technical operations team.

In this role, you will be the master of the “bench and the field.” You aren’t just a mechanic; you are a specialist who bridges the gap between complex electronics and aerodynamic structures. From soldering high-voltage connections to calibrating sophisticated flight controllers, your work ensures that our fleet remains reliable, safe, and mission-ready. Key Responsibilities

• Precision Assembly: Build and integrate UAV structures, including carbon-fiber frames, propulsion systems (motors/ESCs), and complex onboard wiring.

• Electronics Configuration: Configure and tune flight controllers (Pixhawk, Ardupilot), GPS modules, sensors, and telemetry communication devices.

• Preventive Maintenance: Conduct rigorous pre-flight and post-flight inspections, performing hardware tune-ups and firmware upgrades to ensure peak performance.

• Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair faults in electronic circuits and mechanical components using diagnostic software and multimeters.

• Testing & R&D Support: Collaborate with the engineering team to assemble prototypes and provide ground support during outdoor flight trials.

• Inventory & Documentation: Maintain meticulous logs of every part replacement, repair session, and performance report to ensure fleet traceability.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Technical Skillset: Strong proficiency in soldering, wiring, and mechanical assembly. You should be comfortable interpreting circuit schematics and technical blueprints.

• Software Knowledge: Practical experience with UAV flight stacks like Ardupilot, PX4, or DJI platforms.

• Problem Solving: A methodical approach to troubleshooting; the ability to identify a “needle in a haystack” electronic fault.

• Environment: Ability to thrive in both a clean-room workshop environment and outdoor field-testing locations.

• Passion: A genuine interest in robotics, mechatronics, or aviation is highly preferred.
