Are you a highly skilled renal care professional dedicated to improving the quality of life for patients with chronic kidney disease? IME is seeking expert Dialysis Staff Nurses to join a specialized clinical team in Abu Dhabi .

In this critical role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of hemodialysis treatments. You will blend technical mastery of complex delivery systems with compassionate patient advocacy, ensuring that every session is conducted with the highest standards of safety, sterility, and clinical precision. From vascular access cannulation to water treatment surveillance, your expertise will be the lifeline for patients navigating renal failure.

Core Responsibilities & Impact

• Treatment Supervision: Oversee the entire dialysis process, from the preparation of the dialysate bath and equipment alarm testing to the final disinfection of machinery.

• Clinical Assessment: Conduct rigorous pre- and post-dialysis assessments, including vital signs monitoring, medication reconciliation, and evaluating laboratory findings.

• Vascular Access Expertise: Perform aseptic cannulation of AV fistulas/grafts and maintain skilled surveillance of access sites (catheters/fistulas) for signs of infection or failure.

• Technical Surveillance: Perform testing of water treatment systems (chlorine, hardness, conductivity) to ensure they operate within strict facility protocols.

• Patient Advocacy & Education: Provide essential teaching on renal health and refer patients to supportive disciplines such as nutrition and social work.

• Quality & Safety: Participate in Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) data collection and uphold stringent infection control standards to prevent the transmission of bloodborne pathogens.

Candidate Requirements

• Education: A recognized Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing .

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience , with in-depth, specialized experience specifically in Hemodialysis .

• Linguistic Skills: Proficiency in English is mandatory; Knowledge of Arabic is considered a significant advantage.

• Technical Skills: Ability to perform arteriovenous access monitoring (including ultrasound monitoring where applicable) and manage dialysis-related IV/oral medications.

• Soft Skills: Strong teamwork, collaborative spirit, and a patient-first care attitude.
