In this role, you are the critical physical link between our global remote management team and the local hardware. Key Responsibilities

• Hardware Lifecycle Management: Install, configure, and maintain high-density servers and storage arrays to ensure maximum uptime and peak performance.

• Network Operations: Deploy and troubleshoot enterprise-grade networking devices, including Cisco and Juniper routers, switches, and firewalls, ensuring secure and low-latency connectivity.

• OS & System Administration: Manage and patch both Linux and Windows-based systems, performing critical security enhancements and hardware-level troubleshooting.

• On-Site “Smart Hands” Support: Act as the local technical expert to diagnose and resolve complex hardware, cabling, and connectivity issues as they arise.

• Security & Infrastructure Integrity: Implement strict physical and digital security protocols to protect data center assets in accordance with international standards.

• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain meticulous logs of all installations and repairs, providing real-time data to the global remote management team.

• Vendor & Team Collaboration: Partner with remote IT leads and external vendors to execute infrastructure upgrades and large-scale deployment projects.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Technical Expertise: Advanced knowledge of data center hardware (Rack/Blade servers, SAN/NAS) and networking (Cisco/Juniper/Fortinet).

• System Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience with Linux (Ubuntu/CentOS) and Windows Server environments.

• Autonomy: Ability to work independently on-site while following precise instructions from remote global teams.

• Problem Solving: A proven track record of diagnosing complex connectivity and hardware failures under time-sensitive conditions.

• Flexibility: This is a Freelance/Part-time role; candidates must be available for on-demand “tickets” or project-based work.
