Job Description: Consultant Obstetrics & Gynecologist (American Board)

Key Responsibilities

Comprehensive Women’s Health: Provide compassionate, high-quality care to women across all life stages, including adolescence, the reproductive years, and menopause.

Obstetric Excellence: Manage low- and high-risk pregnancies, conduct prenatal screenings (ultrasounds and genetic counseling), perform deliveries and C-sections, and oversee postnatal recovery.

Gynecological Management: Diagnose and treat common and complex conditions such as endometriosis, PCOS, pelvic pain, and irregular cycles.

Surgical Leadership: Perform a wide range of gynecological surgeries, including minimally invasive (laparoscopic/hysteroscopic) procedures and major abdominal surgeries.

Patient Education: Counsel patients on reproductive health, fertility treatments, and family planning, ensuring they are empowered to make informed healthcare decisions.

Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Partner with neonatologists, radiologists, and specialized nurses to provide holistic, integrated care.
Requirements & Qualifications

Certification: American Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is mandatory.

Education: Medical degree from an accredited university with Western education/training (Residency/Fellowship in the USA).

Experience: * Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Consultant OB/GYN.

At least 3 years of recent experience working within the UAE or GCC region.

Licensure: A valid DHA (Dubai Health Authority) or MOH license as a Consultant OB/GYN.

Competencies: Strong surgical skills, mastery of advanced diagnostic technology, and a “patient-centered” approach to care.

Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust in a multicultural patient environment.
