Do you want to be the mentor that teaches the world’s most advanced AI how to code? Outlier is seeking Bilingual Software Engineers based in the UAE to help bridge the gap between human logic and machine execution.

In this role, you aren’t just building applications; you are performing RLHF (Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback). You will be presented with complex computer science problems and AI-generated solutions, and your job is to evaluate, correct, and rank them. Because this project focuses on the Arabic-speaking market, you must be able to articulate technical concepts fluently in Arabic, ensuring the models understand the nuances of the language alongside the strict logic of syntax.

Your Mission in AI Alignment

Expert Evaluation & Ranking

• Code Benchmarking: Review code generated by Large Language Models (LLMs) across various languages (Python, Java, C++, etc.) and rank them based on efficiency, security, and correctness.

• Adversarial Testing: Craft difficult “prompts” or technical questions designed to test the limits of an AI’s reasoning and coding capabilities.

• Error Correction: Identify “hallucinations” in AI code and provide the correct “Golden Response” that the model should have produced.

Linguistic & Technical Synthesis

• Technical Translation: Explain complex architectural patterns or algorithmic logic fluently in Arabic, helping the model serve the developer community in the MENA region.

• Attention to Detail: Maintain high standards for code style, documentation, and grammatical precision in both English and Arabic.

What You Bring to Outlier

• Educational Background: Currently enrolled in or completed a degree in Computer Science from a selective institution (PhDs are highly encouraged and eligible for higher rates).

• Polyglot Coding: Proficiency in at least one major language: Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, C++, Swift, or Verilog.

• Bilingual Fluency: The ability to discuss and write about high-level software engineering concepts in Arabic and English.

• Analytical Mindset: You enjoy “debugging” logic and can spot a subtle off-by-one error or a security vulnerability at a glance.
