Links Consultants is recruiting a dedicated Civil Engineer with specific Abu Dhabi Municipality (ADM) G+1 certification to lead residential and commercial building projects. This role is designed for a site-focused engineer who possesses the local authority approvals necessary to manage projects from the initial permit phase through to the final handover.

As an ADM-approved engineer, you will be the primary technical link between the client, the municipality, and the construction site. You will ensure that every structural element of the G+1 (Ground + 1 Floor) development adheres to the strict safety and quality standards mandated by the UAE building codes. Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: Supervise and manage all phases of G+1 construction, ensuring structural integrity and aesthetic compliance from foundation to finishes.

• Regulatory Liaison: Act as the authorized representative for all ADM inspections, permit applications, and government authority approvals.

• Technical Documentation: Review and approve shop drawings, Bill of Quantities (BOQs) , and technical submittals. Ensure all work aligns with the approved permit set.

• Site Inspection & Quality: Conduct daily site walks to verify that contractors and subcontractors are executing work according to approved engineering standards.

• Project Controls: Monitor timelines and budgets proactively, preparing progress reports for management and relevant authorities.

• HSE Oversight: Maintain a culture of safety on-site, ensuring full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

• Problem Solving: Provide immediate engineering solutions for technical site issues to avoid project delays or municipality penalties.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Certification (Mandatory): Valid ADM G+1 Engineer Approval Certificate and a valid Society of Engineers (SOE) UAE Card .

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.

• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in building construction specifically within Abu Dhabi.

• Local Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of ADM regulations , UAE building codes, and local municipality inspection procedures.

• Technical Skills: Ability to interpret complex blueprints and manage multidisciplinary site teams.
