Parkhouse Bell , a specialist HR consultancy, has been commissioned by a prominent UAE-based holding company to appoint a visionary CEO to lead a network of Arabic-speaking, US-curriculum private schools. This is a high-stakes leadership mandate requiring a blend of academic integrity and commercial sophistication.
As CEO, you will report directly to the Board of Directors, serving as the primary architect for the network’s future. You will be tasked with transforming a cluster of schools into a high-performing “charter-style” network, balancing rigorous academic outcomes with robust financial sustainability. This role demands a leader who understands the cultural nuances of the UAE education landscape while possessing the “entrepreneurial drive” to launch new ventures, oversee facility acquisitions, and design innovative human capital strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Culture Development

Mission Stewardship: Define, preserve, and promote the organization’s core values, ensuring the school culture remains aligned with both international standards and regional requirements.

Growth Architecture: Work with the Board to develop and execute a strategic plan to scale the network, making critical decisions on school models and resource allocation.

Leadership Oversight: Recruit and manage senior-level staff across academic, operational, and marketing functions to drive organizational excellence.
Operational & Financial Leadership

Fiscal Management: Lead the development of long-term financial projections, budgeting, and accounting processes to support aggressive growth plans.

Infrastructure & Legal: Oversee contract management, compliance, and facility acquisitions, including maintenance and renovation efforts in coordination with legal counsel.

Human Capital: Establish clear career paths and a comprehensive talent strategy to attract and retain top-tier educators and administrators.
Academic Performance & Marketing

Academic Rigor: Oversee the academic performance of all schools, driving the refinement of the instructional model to improve student outcomes.

Brand Development: Lead marketing and development initiatives to position the network as a premier choice for US-curriculum education in the UAE.
Candidate Profile & Qualifications

Education: MBA or equivalent senior management qualification is required.

Leadership Experience: 5–7+ years of experience managing a high-performing organization, with a proven track record in strategic development and large-scale operations.

Sector Expertise: Deep experience in charter school networks or extensive knowledge of “new school” launches and design.

Instructional Background: Direct classroom or instructional leadership experience is essential to maintain academic credibility.

Entrepreneurial Spirit: A proven track record of launching new ventures or major institutional initiatives.

Stakeholder Management: Superior ability to manage relationships with a Board of Directors, government regulators, and internal stakeholders.
