As a Cardiac ICU Nurse, you will manage life-sustaining technology and provide high-acuity nursing interventions for patients recovering from major cardiac surgeries, heart failure, and acute coronary syndromes. Core Responsibilities & Impact

• Advanced Hemodynamic Monitoring: Manage and interpret data from invasive monitoring systems (Arterial lines, CVP, PA catheters) and life-support equipment such as IABPs or LVADs.

• Post-Operative Recovery: Lead the immediate recovery of patients following complex cardiac procedures, including CABG, valve replacements, and thoracic surgeries.

• Pharmacological Management: Administer and titrate potent vasoactive “drip” medications to maintain cardiovascular stability in critical patients.

• Rapid Response: Act as a critical member of the code team, utilizing advanced ACLS protocols to manage life-threatening arrhythmias or cardiac arrest.

• Patient-Centered Education: Guide families through the high-stress environment of the CICU, providing clarity on recovery timelines and post-discharge care.

Candidate Requirements

• Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (minimum 3-4 years of full-time study).

• Experience Baseline: At least 5 years of post-graduate experience in an acute care setting.

• Specialization: A minimum of 2 years of dedicated experience within a Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) .

• Certifications: Valid ACLS and BLS certifications; Current nursing registration from your home country.

• Aptitude: Exceptional critical thinking skills and the ability to remain calm under extreme pressure.
