Key Responsibilities

• IB Excellence: Deliver high-quality Business Studies instruction across the secondary level, with a focus on the IB Diploma Programme (DP) and/or Middle Years Programme (MYP) frameworks.

• Inquiry-Driven Pedagogy: Design and implement student-centered lessons that utilize inquiry-based learning to challenge students and foster critical thinking skills.

• Standards-Based Assessment: Employ rigorous standards-based grading and assessment strategies to track student progress and inform differentiated instruction.

• Technology Integration: Confidently use educational technology to enhance the learning experience and prepare students for a digital-first business world.

• Community Collaboration: Actively contribute to department initiatives and maintain open, professional communication with families regarding student development.

• Holistic Culture: Support the school’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring every student feels empowered to reach their potential.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in a Business-related field (Economics, Finance, Management, etc.).

• Teaching Credentials: A recognized teaching qualification such as a B.Ed., M.Ed., or PGCE/PGDE.

• Experience: * Minimum of two years of successful secondary teaching experience.

  • Experience with IB Business Management is highly desirable but not essential.

• Attributes: Proven ability to inspire students, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong understanding of international school environments.

• Compliance: Must be able to provide a clear criminal record/police check and professional references.
