Job Duties

• Prepare and serve a wide range of high-quality coffee beverages, specializing in espresso-based techniques and latte art.

• Deliver exceptional guest experiences by greeting customers warmly and providing expert menu recommendations.

• Maintain a clean and organized coffee station, ensuring all equipment is sanitized according to food safety standards.

• Operate commercial espresso machines and grinders with precision to ensure consistent flavor profiles.

• Manage high-volume orders in a fast-paced catering environment while maintaining attention to detail.

• Monitor inventory levels for coffee beans, milk, and specialty syrups, reporting shortages to the supervisor.

• Handle cash and digital transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.

• Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations established by the Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority.

Requirements

• Demonstrate technical mastery of espresso extraction, milk texturing, and beverage presentation.

• Communicate effectively with diverse guests and team members to ensure a seamless service flow.

• Adapt to flexible shift patterns, including weekends and public holidays, based on operational needs.

• Perform physical tasks consistently, including standing for long periods and handling hot equipment safely.

• Resolve guest inquiries or complaints with a positive and professional attitude.

• Navigate a high-pressure catering environment while maintaining speed and service quality.

• Utilize strong multitasking skills to manage beverage preparation and guest interaction simultaneously.

Qualifications

• Hold a High School Diploma or an equivalent secondary education certificate.

• Evidence 2–4 years of professional experience as a Barista in a reputable café or hospitality setting.

• Possess a Diploma in Hospitality or a related field (preferred).

• Maintain a valid health certificate as required for food handlers in the UAE.
