Overview of the Role

As a Barista & Café Operations Pro for the Azadea Group , you will be part of a premier lifestyle provider that manages some of the world’s most recognizable F&B brands (such as Paul, Eataly, or The Butcher Shop & Grill). This role is designed for a service-oriented professional who treats coffee preparation as an art form and café operations as a science. You will balance high-volume beverage crafting with rigorous inventory management to ensure every guest experience meets the Azadea standard of excellence.

Job Duties

• Specialty Beverage Crafting: Prepare and serve a diverse menu of hot and cold beverages, maintaining strict brand recipes for espresso extraction, milk texturing, and presentation.

• Operational Excellence: Execute daily opening and closing procedures, ensuring the café is “guest-ready” at all times with pristine counters and seating areas.

• Proactive Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, dairy, syrups, and disposables; initiate timely orders to prevent service interruptions.

• Guest Relationship Management: Provide energetic and professional customer service, identifying regular guests’ preferences and handling inquiries with brand-aligned etiquette.

• Financial Integrity: Efficiently manage Point of Sale (POS) transactions, ensuring accuracy in billing, cash handling, and end-of-shift reporting.

• Quality Assurance: Adhere to global food safety and HACCP standards, performing regular equipment calibration and maintaining a 100% sanitary workspace.

• Brand Ambassadorship: Stay updated on new product launches and promotional offers, using product knowledge to upsell and enhance the guest experience.

Requirements

• F&B Proficiency: Strong foundational knowledge of food and beverage operations within a fast-paced retail or hospitality environment.

• Service Mindset: A “guest-first” attitude with the ability to remain calm and professional during peak “rush” periods.

• Technical Aptitude: Ability to operate and perform basic maintenance on professional espresso machines, grinders, and rapid-cook ovens.

• Communication Skills: Clear verbal English communication; the ability to interact effectively with a multicultural team and international clientele.

• Physical Stamina: Capacity to work on your feet for full shifts and handle the physical demands of a busy café environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Degree or equivalent is required.

• Experience: 1–2 years of professional experience in F&B operations (Barista experience specifically is highly preferred).

• Technical Skill: Knowledge of specialty drink preparation and latte art is a significant advantage.

• Legal: Must be eligible for full-time employment within the United Arab Emirates.
