We are currently seeking a meticulous and driven Assistant Accountant to join our finance team in Sharjah. This role is ideal for a professional who is eager to apply their bookkeeping knowledge in a fast-paced trading environment. You will play a critical role in ensuring the transparency, accuracy, and efficiency of our financial operations, acting as a backbone for our accounting department’s daily success.

Your Role and Impact

As an Assistant Accountant, you will handle the vital “gears” of our financial engine. From reconciling complex invoices to managing digital records, your attention to detail will ensure that our fiscal data remains error-free and audit-ready.

  • Financial Data Management: Accurately enter transactions into internal databases and maintain high-integrity digital and physical filing systems.

  • Reconciliation & Accuracy: Cross-reference invoices to identify discrepancies, audit spreadsheets for numerical errors, and ensure all financial reports are accurate.

  • Expense & Payroll Support: Process reimbursement forms, update expense reports, and assist in the organized filing of payroll documentation.

  • Banking & Invoicing: Prepare bank deposits and facilitate the timely issuance of invoices to our valued customers and external partners.

  • Audit Readiness: Actively participate in the preparation for quarterly and annual audits, ensuring all documentation is compliant with UAE finance regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: 2 to 3 years of proven accounting experience within the United Arab Emirates .

  • Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field.

  • Age Range: Specifically looking for candidates between 25 and 35 years of age .

  • Technical Skills: High proficiency in MS Excel and hands-on experience with modern accounting software.

  • Core Competencies: Strong mathematical aptitude, an eye for detail, and the ability to handle sensitive, confidential data with the utmost integrity.
