Job Description: Arabic Coordinator (Academic Year 2026-2027)

Bukhatir Education Advancement & Management (BEAM) is seeking a dynamic Arabic Coordinator to lead our Arabic department across the American School of Creative Science (ASCS) and the International School of Creative Science (ISCS) for the August 2026 intake.

In this leadership role, you will be the architect of a curriculum that balances traditional moral values with modern critical thinking. You will mentor a diverse team of talented teachers, ensuring that Arabic instruction is not only rigorous but also creative and inspiring. Key Responsibilities

• Academic Leadership: Lead the Arabic department in delivering high-quality instruction that aligns with both Ministry of Education (MoE) standards and the school’s international (US/UK) curriculum framework.

• Curriculum Design & Alignment: Plan and optimize the Arabic curricula to ensure it covers a broad range of subjects, stays current with pedagogical trends, and meets all UAE regulatory requirements.

• Teacher Mentorship: Observe, support, and record the progress of classroom teachers. You will facilitate professional development sessions to ensure the team utilizes engaging, student-centered delivery methods.

• Student Progress Tracking: Oversee the assessment and recording of student progress, using data to identify areas for intervention or enrichment to ensure academic excellence for all pupils.

• Cultural Integration: Foster a healthy learning environment that promotes traditional moral values, ethos, and a love for the Arabic language within a multicultural school setting.

• Safer Recruitment & Safeguarding: Uphold the highest standards of child protection, ensuring all departmental practices align with “Keeping Children Safe in Education” (KCSIE) 2025 recommendations.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Arabic Language, Islamic Studies, or Education. A Master’s degree or professional leadership qualification is highly desirable.

• Experience: * Proven experience in academic leadership (Coordinator, Head of Department, or Lead Teacher).

  • Extensive experience teaching Arabic within a US or British curriculum international school in the UAE.

• Knowledge: * Deep understanding of KHDA/SPEA inspection frameworks and MoE requirements for Arabic.

  • Familiarity with “Creative Science” pedagogical approaches.

• Language: Native or near-native proficiency in Arabic; excellent professional English communication skills are required for collaboration with international staff.

• Dispositions: A collaborative spirit, a “sales-minded” approach to academic growth, and a passion for nurturing students in a faith-based environment.
