Key Responsibilities

• Curriculum Mastery: Deliver high-impact tutoring sessions across various systems, including IB (MYP/DP), AP, IGCSE/GCSE, A-Levels, and the American K-12 curriculum.

• Exam Preparation: Provide specialized coaching for standardized tests, specifically the SAT, focusing on both content and time-management strategies.

• Lesson Architecture: Plan and deliver engaging, student-centered lessons tailored to individual learning styles and specific syllabus requirements.

• Progress Tracking: Maintain detailed records of student performance, identifying gaps in knowledge and adjusting teaching plans accordingly.

• Parental Liaison: Act as a bridge between the center and families, providing regular, constructive feedback on student progress and areas for improvement.

Your Technical Expertise

• Subject Specialization: Deep knowledge in one or more core areas (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Economics, or English Literature).

• International Standards: Familiarity with the specific assessment criteria for IB Internal Assessments (IAs) and Extended Essays (EEs), as well as the nuances of British exam boards like Edexcel, AQA, and CIE.

• Pedagogical Range: Ability to transition between the inquiry-based approach of the IB and the more content-heavy, rigorous requirements of AP and A-Levels.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in your specialized subject; a Master’s degree or PGCE is highly preferred.

• Experience: At least 2+ years of professional teaching or tutoring experience within international school systems.

• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English skills, with the ability to build immediate rapport with students and parents.

• Location: Ability to work from our center in Al Barsha 1, Dubai.
