About the Job

BAT Sri Lanka is seeking a proactive Legal Counsel to join our Kandy Leaf site. The ideal candidate will advise the business on legal compliance, litigation, contract management, intellectual property, licensing, and regulatory frameworks relevant to tobacco operations. This is a dynamic opportunity to become a trusted legal advisor within a globally recognized organization.

Key Responsibilities

Provide legal advice on regulatory and compliance issues
Oversee litigation and manage external counsel relationships
Ensure effective contract drafting, licensing, and IP portfolio management
Monitor laws related to tobacco manufacturing and sales
Partner with internal stakeholders and keep teams informed of legal updates
Assist the Senior Legal Counsel in resolving corporate legal matters

2–3 years of legal experience with litigation and court procedure
