Job Description:

The Department of Fisheries & Aquatic Resources (DFAR) is inviting applications from qualified Sri Lankan citizens for the Marine Engineering Assistant Grade III (Technical) post under the Sri Lanka Technological Service. Recruitment will be conducted through an Open Competitive Examination for the year 2024/2025.

Selected candidates will be responsible for supporting marine engineering activities, maintaining equipment, and providing technical assistance in fisheries and aquatic resource operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in marine engineering and technical operations.
Maintain and repair fishing vessels and marine equipment.
Support the implementation of technical projects in aquatic resource development.
Ensure compliance with marine safety and technical standards.
Coordinate with senior engineers and field officers.

Candidate Requirements:
