About the Job

MAS Matrix, a key player in the flat-knit apparel manufacturing space, is looking for a qualified and experienced Assistant Manager – Finance to oversee financial operations. You will manage and review financial accounting, management reporting, taxation, and purchasing processes while ensuring compliance with statutory and internal controls. This role also requires strategic support in budgeting, forecasting, audit coordination, and cost control.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee monthly and year-end financial finalizations in line with group reporting standards
Coordinate audits and ensure timely submission of financial statements
Review and maintain clarity and hygiene in general ledger and balance sheet accounts
Ensure compliance with tax regulations including VAT, SVAT, income tax, and transfer pricing
Supervise Accounts Payable and Receivable functions to ensure efficiency and compliance
Work closely with outsourced finance functions and internal stakeholders
Provide timely financial insights on customer/product profitability and costing
Lead annual budget preparation, variance analysis, and cost center performance reviews
Support ERP and financial control implementations
Drive SG&A cost-saving initiatives and financial verifications

Knowledge and Skills Required

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Fully qualified in ICASL, ACCA, or CIMA
4–6 years of experience in Finance, with 2+ years in a leadership role
Strong experience in financial closures, audit liaison, and data analysis
Background in large-scale or multinational companies preferred
Proficient in ERP systems and financial controls
Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills
