About the Role:

As a Trainee Clinical Research Coordinator, you will support medical investigators in executing and managing clinical studies across a range of diseases. Under the guidance of principal investigators, you will ensure smooth implementation, accurate data collection, and adherence to protocols through established research management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate day-to-day clinical trial activities under supervision
Communicate with patients, physicians, and research teams
Assist with data collection, entry, and reporting using digital systems
Ensure study compliance with regulatory and ethical guidelines
Manage patient follow-ups and documentation
Support the team with administrative tasks related to research

Required Qualifications & Skills:

BSc in Health Sciences, Biosciences, Nursing, or a related discipline
Strong interpersonal skills to work closely with patients and clinical teams
Proficiency in English and Sinhala (spoken and written); Tamil is an added advantage
High attention to detail and time management skills
Familiarity with MS Office, OneDrive, and online research databases
Willingness to work extended hours, including weekends
Comfortable working in a government hospital environment
