Job Description: Assistant – Human Resources & Administration

Prym Intimates Lanka is seeking a dynamic and energetic Assistant – Human Resources & Administration to support the HR functions of its sub-unit located in Biyagama EPZ. The ideal candidate will play a key role in coordinating HR and administrative processes, supporting employee relations, and ensuring smooth operational activities in collaboration with the main HR team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor labor turnover (LTO) and absenteeism (ABS); coordinate with the ER Executive to address issues promptly.
  • Ensure timely fulfillment of carder requirements by coordinating recruitment activities.
  • Manage employee life cycle activities in coordination with the main plant HR team.
  • Organize and facilitate team member onboarding programs.
  • Escalate and coordinate payroll-related matters and assist with Time & Attendance issues.
  • Promote healthy employee relations by resolving grievances and supporting the ER Executive.
  • Conduct exit interviews and support counseling initiatives to strengthen workplace harmony.
  • Identify training needs from line managers and coordinate training with the HRD Executive and Lead Trainer.
  • Ensure workplace health and safety standards are maintained and coordinate corrective actions with the H&S Executive.
  • Support the management in additional HR or administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Management, or equivalent (full or partial).
  • 1–2 years of experience in HR administration; prior startup or manufacturing experience is an advantage.
  • Highly self-motivated, flexible, and eager to learn with a proactive, can-do attitude.
