Job Description
MAS Matrix, a leader in flat-knit apparel manufacturing under MAS Holdings, is seeking a skilled Assistant Manager – Finance to oversee management accounting, financial reporting, tax compliance, and procurement functions. This role is vital for ensuring accurate and timely financials, leading audits, maintaining report quality, and supporting cost management and profitability analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee monthly and year-end financial closings in line with procedural standards.
- Coordinate with auditors for timely audit completion and ensure statutory compliance.
- Review and maintain clarity in General Ledger accounts and balance sheet reconciliation.
- Manage all tax-related matters including Income Tax, VAT, SVAT, and Transfer Pricing.
- Supervise Accounts Payable/Receivable to ensure accurate collections and payments.
- Ensure statutory compliance with BOI, IRD, and Central Bank regulations.
- Provide financial insights on product and customer profitability.
- Guide preparation of budgets, cost center reviews, and variance analysis.
- Drive SG&A savings through value stream leadership and cost control initiatives.
- Implement ERP system controls and ensure availability of accurate management information.
Knowledge and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Fully qualified in ICASL, ACCA, or CIMA.
- 4–6 years of experience in finance/accounting; 2+ years in a supervisory role.
- Experience in large-scale or multinational organizations is a plus.
- Strong skills in financial reporting, tax management, audits, and budgeting.
- Proficient in ERP systems and advanced Excel capabilities.
- Leadership, analytical thinking, and effective communication skills are essential.
